forces of nature blow wind. The horizontal and vertical lines indicate longitude and latitude and are part of me construction of the work, formed as they are by the edges of each panel. The work is given an even greater cohesion by the graceful, fluid lines of the climatic patterns, which range across the entire work. These lines create a sense of movement and also lend the painting a sense of epoch and scientific effect. It is my hope that the combined features of the painting will both challenge and amuse viewers, yet also underline the importance of balancing our environment.
The work will be painted in oil paint on 120 framed board panels. Each panel will be 90 x 90 x 5 cm. The overall dimension of the painting will be 540 x 1800 cm. There will be a 100 cm space on the right and left side of the work. Additionally, there will be a 30 cm space at the top and bottom. At present this is the main structure, however, 1 am willing to modify some of the details should this be necessary.
